The clamour to inculcate the roles of education at the grassroot level for development has not achieved its laudable objectives, but our hope is much more alive seeing most of our leaders who were victims of this educational drawback reawakening the spirit to thrive educationally.

It is on this premise that, we the executive body of the National Association of Gbaramatu Students(NAGS) stand to laud Chief(Comrade) Sheriff Mulade for putting up the Inter-Local Government Quiz & Essay competition for Riverine/Rural Secondary Schools across the Warri North, Warri South and Warri South West LGAs.

The educational system in the rural/coastal communities is bisected with myriad of inadequacies which has affected their level of confidence and academic exposure.

This Inter-Local Government Quiz & Essay competition will go a long way in bridging the lacuna between the Rural Schools and their urban fellows.

May God richly increase and empower you to do more sir.

We want to congratulate our own Gbaraun Grammar School(Warri South West) for emerging winner to clinch the 1st price of N50, 000.00k for the Essay competition for Senior Secondary (SS) 1-3, Alema Secondary School(Warri North) and Atuwatse Secondary School (Warri South) for emerging for the 2nd and 3rd price winners respectively, of N30, 000.00k and N20, 000.00k. This is an indication for us to pay close attention and to focus more on our rural school.

Finally, we want to acknowledge the efforts of all those who are ensuring that our grassroot educational system is revived.

God bless Gbaramatu Kingdom!

God bless Delta State!!
